Installation & Testing

The last stage of each project involves installation, calibration, and testing of the system. Experienced engineers, technicians, and project managers at Bauman insure that installation calibration and testing are done strictly in accordance with specifications.

Bauman Instrument Corporation will complete this with full participation by the Engineer and the Client. The system is complete only when tested and proven to meet specified requirements. Upon completion of a project, Bauman is available to provide routine maintenance and calibration of process instrumentation. Technical consulting and troubleshooting of systems and controls is also available.

Design

STEP ONE is to assemble the Design Submittal Package for the Engineer’s review. This is done completely in house!

Bauman engineers will prepare data sheets, detailed drawings, and perform calculations.

Bauman engineers can therefore provide a solution based upon an existing design or upon one developed at Bauman Instrument for owner and Engineer Approval.

Panel Fabrication

Control Panel Fabrication is done in our shop in accordance with the client’s approved drawings.

The panel fab shop is UL 508A approved to manufacture both industrial control panels and flame control panels.

Control panels are powered up and tested for functionality prior to shipment.

Programming

In parallel with panel fab, programming of PLC’s and the operator interface software is accomplished by Bauman personnel. This would include details such as; security requirements for the data acquisition/control operator interface, the design of operator interface displays and the design of periodic or management reports.

Significant involvement and acceptance of the operator interface design by the client is achieved to obtain a system that operates smoothly and efficiently.
